What conditions does the safe operation limit of the generator depend on?

The operating limit of the generator depends on the following four conditions:

1) Prime mover output power limit.

2) The rated capacity of the generator, i.e. the specific sub winding and iron core, belongs to the safe operation limit determined by heating.

3) The maximum excitation current of the generator is usually determined by the heating of the rotor.

4) The stability during leading phase operation is limited by static stability conditions.
