Silk fabric properties

Silk fabric refers to the raw materials woven from silk, including mulberry silk fabric and tussah silk fabric. Tussah silk fabric is dull in color, rough in appearance, soft in hand but not smooth; Mulberry silk is fine and smooth. There is a good touch between silk and skin. It is hygroscopic and breathable, light, smooth and elastic. It is especially suitable for close fitting clothing and children's delicate skin. But silk fabrics wrinkle easily.

Silk fabric can be divided into plain fabric and flower fabric. Plain fabrics are plain and clean fabrics, such as electric spinning, twill silk, etc. Flower fabrics have small pattern fabrics, such as polyester crepe, large pattern fabrics, such as flower soft satin, etc. Silk fabrics can also be divided into raw fabrics and cooked fabrics. The fabric made of non diameter scouring and dyeing silk thread is called raw fabric. The fabric made of silk yarn dyed by first diameter scouring is called cooked fabric.

Fabric is an object formed by interweaving two systems of silk threads (i.e. warp and weft) arranged vertically on the loom according to a certain law. In the fabric, the silk threads arranged parallel to the silk edge are called warp threads, and the silk threads arranged vertically with the silk edge are called weft threads. (the vertical line of the fabric is called "warp" and the horizontal line is called "weft".)
